Cynthia Nixon goes from Sex and the City to the suburbs
Out actress Cynthia Nixon, soon to be seen on the big screen in the long-awaited Sex and the City movie, is migrating from Manhattan to Long Island for her next project. Variety reports that Nixon will star alongside Alec Baldwin, Emma Thompson, Rory and Kieran Culkin, Jill Hennessy, and Timothy Hutton in the dramedy Lymelife, about two suburban families whose lives are rocked during an outbreak of Lyme disease.
Brothers Derick and Steven Martini (Smiling Fish and Goat on Fire) will write and direct the film, which goes into production next week, with Baldwin shooting this project and 30 Rock simultaneously. Mr. Sardonic wishes to pre-emptively request that whoever markets this film not send him a box of ticks to remind him of the opening date.
